A middle-aged magician collects failure after failure in his activities in London or Paris. The magic does not matter, his tricks do not work. No output or so he thinks until he reaches a small town north of Scotland in which he finds success when you least expect it and leaves accompanied by an innocent young lady who will make life easier emotionally.
