just returned from the demonstration against abortion. Was held this afternoon in Madrid. The organization says it has gone more than two million people. The police, some 250,000. The Manifestómetro is working on the figures.
There were many people: young, elderly, children, priests, nuns. Many people, I say, it confuses an embryo with a human (or an acorn to an oak, as you want see). There was much slogans against the government and many (tons) of amnesia against the PP.
What most caught my attention was that had balloons and stickers to support the demonstration sponsored by the media: The Cope, La Razón and ABC. Can you imagine bumper 'No War' sponsored by THE COUNTRY?.
I wonder if those thousands of citizens who now have come to the march, the attendance figures believe that they offer. How can a media outlet is meant that way, how can cut across so violate neutrality?
Another shocking thing was the huge deployment to take money from the protesters. Piggy bank in hand and well-organized campaign of SMS. The argument of the organizers (The Family Forum) was that the event "has cost much money." How much?, Why?. I wonder how much will be raised today, the Forum of the family and who will oversee the money.
